Africa tchoukball volunteering and development programme

Tchoukball game represented by FITB is an innovative team ball sport. Based on special rules which eliminates personal clashes and potential injuries hand by hand with the core principal of fair-play has uniqe assumptions to enhance sport activities with the emphasis on cooperation and social cultivation of all involved. FITB has initiated many projects for tchoukball devopment in Africa, tchoukball volunteering and developing programme is one of them.

There are 4 main goals of the initiative:

• Bring kids and young people to meaningful and sporty leisure time activities,
• Build cooperative and harmonious society based on fair-play principles,
• Aggressiveness reduction achieved through high sports performance without the possibility of mutual clashes,
• Spread the spirit of tchoukball “the objective of human physical activities is not to make champions, but rather to help construct a harmonious society”

1. Increase the number of referee and coaches
2. Increase in number of African national representatives and African FITB members
3. Increase the number of players and their participation in world international championships and events and in local sport community
