The World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF) has been awarded the first-ever Sport for All Label, a landmark recognition that underscores their leadership in promoting inclusive and accessible sport. WFDF has received the Diamond Level, the highest possible level. This milestone, granted through the INTERACT+ project, signals a powerful step forward in embedding Sport for All values into the international sports landscape.
Funded by the European Union, INTERACT+ is an initiative designed to support international sport organizations and national sport federations in making sport more equitable and available to all through research, capacity building, and the Sport for All Label. By awarding the Sport for All Label, the project recognizes organizations that demonstrate meaningful efforts to expand participation across age, ability, gender, background, and more.
WFDF earned this top-tier distinction through its sustained commitment to equity, participation, and environmental sustainability in Flying Disc sports. From grassroots outreach to gender balance in leadership and events, the federation has actively shaped a more inclusive and forward-thinking approach to sport.

“Receiving the INTERACT+ Diamond Sport for All Certification Level is a true honor for WFDF. This recognition underscores our unwavering commitment to inclusivity, community engagement, and the global development of flying disc sports. We are dedicated to expanding access to our sports across all continents, fostering grassroots participation and promoting the spirit of the game that defines our community. This milestone propels us forward in our mission to make flying disc sports accessible and enjoyable for all.”
This recognition not only honors WFDF’s progress but also serves as a catalyst for broader change. It highlights how sport organizations and federations can integrate the principles of Sport for All into their daily operations and long-term strategies and encouraging others to follow suit.
As INTERACT+ expands its network and continues offering tools, peer learning, and strategic guidance, WFDF’s achievement stands as a powerful example of what is possible when sport is guided by values of inclusion, health, and community.
