We are excited to announce the completion of our recent online Sport for All Capacity Building Workshop, which concluded its final session on June 12. Over the course of four weeks, 34 participants engaged in this training. The workshop was expertly facilitated by Jörg Benner from the European Flying Disc Federation and Mayssa Bsaibes from the International Table Tennis Federation Foundation.
Jörg Benner shared his thoughts:
“The overall impression of the INTERACT+ Capacity Building Workshop held online in four consecutive weeks over May and June 2024, was very good. In spite of the online delivery format, we found a very high motivation and willingness to interact with and learn from one another. The national associations’ representatives from Table Tennis and Tchoukball shared a lot of insights and allowed to take many different ways into consideration how to foster their Sport for All engagements.”
This workshop marks the second in a series of six workshops designed to support International and National Sport Federations across Europe. We are committed to continuing this journey and welcome organisations interested in having their employees, staff, or volunteers attend similar training sessions. For more information on upcoming training opportunities, please contact us at info@tafisa.org.
Our training programs are dedicated to building capacity within sport organisations, enabling them to effectively integrate Sport for All initiatives into their operations, events, and policies in a sustainable manner.
Mayssa Bsaibes highlighted the workshop’s impact:
“The Interact+ capacity building online workshop was an added value to participants, fostering a sense of community as we all shared insights on promoting Sports for All.”
Thank you to all participants and facilitators for their enthusiasm and contributions, helping to drive forward the mission of Sport for All.
